Here’s my latest RemixFight entry.

It’s a remix of Brad Sucks’s Songfight entry, Bad Attraction.

EDIT: Haha, I just realized my last post was about this song. Oh well, it’s been added to my song database now.

Intellectual Property Protection Act

This dangerous law is barrelling through the current lame-duck session of Congress. It must be stopped. Hopefully the repulsive nature of its components have already doomed it, but we still need to make our voices heard.

Here’s a good explanation of why it is bad:

Why the Intellectual Property Protection Act is lame and what you can do about it

Go here to contact your congress person and tell them to stick this bill where the sun don’t shine:

Dungeon Majesty Revisited

I posted about this a month ago, but they have 2 episodes available for viewing now. (Follow the link to heavy.com)

I started watching one, but I really need to do this somewhere other than work. Perhaps tonight.

Hunting Online

Cross your fingers, gun-fans. You may soon be able to hunt animals from the comfort of your home, via the computer!

Some guy has developed a platform for shooting a .22 caliber rifle via the internet, and he plans to throw live animals into the mix soon.

Apparently, local wildlife officials are in a tizzy, and are proposing regulations that require a hunter to actually be present while hunting. Party poopers.

Black Lois

In this surreal Superman comic from the 70’s, Lois Lane is transformed via Krypton technology into a black woman, so that she can get citizens of Metropolis’ Little Africa to talk to her.

Boing Boing: Bizarre black Lois Lane comic from the 70s

It’s a shame that today’s overly-PC mindset probably keeps many brilliant ideas like this from being committed to paper.

just kidding

Grey Video

Somebody made an amazing video of one of the DJ Dangermouse Grey Album tracks.

Awesome.

Some guy named joe gratz reports that Microsoft used a pirated copy of Sound Forge to make the wav files that come with Windows.

Brad Attraction

Check out the new remix fight.

I like my mix, what can I say.

Kudzu

I have a strange affinity towards kudzu. I lived in Helena, Arkansas when I was very young, and the stuff was everywhere.

This gallery takes my breath away:

Time Warp

I reclaimed my 4-track Tascam Portastudio from my brother over the weekend. I dug out my old tapes, and digitized my very first recordings. (Not counting this stuff, and a few songs I made with my college roommates.)

Anyway, here it is:

  1. Fuzzy Beginnings
  2. Drummo
  3. Do You Know?
  4. Ah, Singapore - a Shonen Knife cover
