Google [Music] Video

Check out these amazing videos, courtesy of google:

First, I will try the video embed thing to see what it looks like. This is Joy Division performing Transmission.

Here are some other goodies:
Nitzer Ebb (Live)
Gary Numan - Cars
Some retro astralwerks thing.

I love the fact that there appear to be four people in the audience for the Joy Division performance. This looks like it’s from old British TV performance - maybe Whistle Test or Something Goes or one of those babies.

Cool!

J$, I think this is perhaps one of the recordings from this cd:

“The Complete BBC Sessions”
The cover photo of the CD looks like the same outfit he’s wearing in the video. I should pull out the CD and compare performances.
It may be from a show called “Something Else” according to that allmusic page.

Yeah ‘Something Else’ would make sense - ITV’s reasonably cool attempt to catch the punk swing - only lasted a season I think. Presented by Ton Wilson (who would later form Factory Records and have the film ‘24 hour party people’ made about him)
